According to the latest data of CNCA and FiBL, China has enjoyed the fourth highest sales of organic products in the world. In response to the government call to implement “One Belt and One Road” economic development strategy and promote the construction of ecological civilization, Organic Food Development and Certification Center (OFDC) from NIES, has always focused on the development of organic certification in Eurasia areas, in order to promote the organic market development and economic growth for all the countries of this area.

 Since the establishment of OFDC Representative Agency with the joint effort of OFDC and BAC in February 2015, OFDC’s organic certification business has risen dramatically.  Invited by BAC, Zhao Keqiang and Xiao Xingji went to Italy for discussing some issues about establishment of formally-registered overseas agency during September 13 to 16, 2015. Furthermore, they also attended SANA Exhibition, Milan Expo and the Foundation of Italy and China.

Through this big event, we have absorbed much knowledge and new idea, and also known the world organic trend and updated product information. Moreover, we have the deep communication with many organic colleagues, laying a solid foundation for further cooperation on the organic agriculture programs.
