Brief Introduction

Organic Food Development and Certification Center of China (OFDC-CHINA) founded in 1994, is a specialized certification body focusing on organic and China-GAP certification，and has been authorized by National Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA) and accredited by CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment). OFDC is also the professional training facility for national organic certification inspectors. 

Managerial Support 

Main unit in drafting and revision of national Organic standard and other related regulations;

Participated in China-EU negotiations on mutual recognition of organic certification system;

Responsible for the approval assessment of National Organic Food Demonstrative Production Bases;

Member of the National Working Group of Organic & GAP Certification;

The only organic certification body in National CB Technical Committee;

The member of the Evaluation Group for National Organic Inspector Registration.

OFDC certified products can access to EU, USA, Japan, Canada and other major organic markets. 

OFDC certification service is now covering all continents in the world;

Within 20 years since its foundation, OFDC has provided organic and China-GAP services for over 1000 companies home and abroad. The cumulated land area certified by OFDC has exceeded 2 million hectares. The scope of OFDC certification includes crops, wild crops, livestock, aquaculture, apiculture, processing and handling with more than 800 kinds of products been certified by OFDC;

OFDC first implemented counterfeit proof QR code organic labels and its management system which led Chinese organic sector into a new starting point of informationization.
